Compensation
LuxuryVacationist is an independently owned and operated media company founded by Josh Roberts and Christine Sarkis, two award-winning travel journalists who have been on both sides of the assignment desk. We know things are tough out there for journalists. We feel it, too. As a brand-new travel publication operating in a challenging media landscape, we’re necessarily being cautious with our content budget to ensure the longterm viability of our publication.
For these reasons, we can pay a flat fee of $50 per story at this time. It’s not a lot. We know that. We’ll do better as our readership grows. Until then, we sincerely hope you’ll join us in our effort to put more accurate, engaging, and human-created travel content out into the world.
